Technical Support Information – Desktop Computers
In order to view the webcast, you must have a currently supported HTML5 compliant web browser with standards-based media playback support on supported versions of the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
Video webcasts require that you have a broadband Internet connection with at least 600kbps of download connectivity. If you are having difficulty with playback of a video webcast, for example playback is buffering frequently, please check your internet connection. Downloadable audio-only MP3 files are available for each session.

Using the Capital Reach Media Player
For each session, there may be two different versions of the media player. Some sessions may include video of the presenter.
- Slide video – video of the speaker's slide presentation is the default stream displayed in the player. This option displays all speaker mouse movements and videos included in presentations.
- Audio and slides – audio of the speaker's presentation is the default stream in the player. Static slide images in the slide presentations are synchronized to the audio stream.
Navigating the Presentation Webcast
The player offers several tools to navigate the presentation:
- "Browse Slides" icon – select the browse slides icon to navigate to any slide in the presentation by selecting the slide thumbnail image.
Player Tools
- "Speaker Information" icon – if available, displays information about the speakers and presentations in the session.
- "Download Media" icon – select this button to download an audio-only file of the session.

Playback Controls
- Play/Pause button – select this button to play or pause the default media stream of the player.
- Stop button – select this button to stop the default media stream of the player.
Mobile Device Support
Presentation playback is available on supported versions of Apple iOS devices (Apple iPad and iPhone) and Android devices with an enabled Internet connection and a currently supported web browser with standards based media playback support. Users of these devices can stream sessions to their mobile device. Users have the option to stream either slide presentation video or audio-only from the session. Please note that some advanced interactivity features of the desktop player may not be supported on the Apple iOS mobile devices.

Dr. Cunningham retired in 2015 as Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Department of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, and completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in endocrinology and metabolism. He served as Associate Chief of Staff for Research and Development at the Houston VA Medical Center from 1988 to 2003 and as Chief of Endocrinology and Director of the Endocrinology training program at Baylor from 1990 to 1999. He served as Vice Chairman for Research, Department of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine from 1998 to 2004. He practiced in the Baylor Clinic from 2004 to 2015. Dr. Cunningham has been active in several specialty medical societies, including the Endocrine Society, the American Diabetes Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Society of Andrology. He held many committee posts and chairmanships with the American Society of Andrology before becoming its President in 1994. Dr. Cunningham's clinical research interests include male hypogonadism, androgen replacement, benign prostatic hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, prevention of diabetic complications by intensive glucose control and in-hospital management of diabetes/hyperglycemia. He has published over 180 papers and chapters on these topics.

Dr. Anawalt is the Chief of Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center and Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington. His principal areas of research are in male infertility, male hormonal contraception and male reproductive physiology. His excellence in teaching has been recognized with several University of Washington Department of Medicine teaching awards: 2014 Marvin Turck Award for excellence in teaching and clinical care, 2007 Endocrinology Fellowship Teaching Award, and 1999 Paul Beeson Award (selected by the internal medicine residents). He has been the North American editor for the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology (2012-2020) and has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (2010-2014). He has won outstanding reviewer awards from the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Annals of Internal Medicine. He serves as a consultant to the United States Anti-Doping Agency. He was a reviewer for the 2018 Endocrine Society and the 2018 American Urology Association guidelines on testosterone therapy for men. He has had leadership positions in the United States Endocrine Society including Council member (2014-2017), Chair of the Hormone Health Network (2006-2010 and 2010-2014) and Clinical Chair of the 2011 Annual Meeting. His clinical focus is in the area of male reproductive endocrinology, and he has received several national and regional awards from his peers for clinical expertise.

Dr. Alvin M. Matsumoto is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gerontology & Geriatric Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) School of Medicine. He has been on the faculty of the UW since 1983 and based primarily at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS). He is Director of the Clinical Research Unit; Associate Director of the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center; Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research; and an Attending Physician in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Endocrinology & Metabolism at VAPSHCS in Seattle. Dr. Matsumoto has broad clinical interests in the area male reproductive endocrinology; men's health; effects of sex steroids in young and aging men; diagnosis, evaluation and management of male hypogonadism; osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease and fracture prevention; pituitary disease and geriatric endocrinology & metabolism. He has published 180 peer-reviewed, original research papers, 85 invited reviews and book chapters and 29 web publications. His research has focused on the physiological and clinical endocrine and intracrine effects of testosterone (and its active metabolites) in young and older men; diagnosis and management of male hypogonadism; endocrine control of spermatogenesis and testis function, male osteoporosis; and male infertility and contraceptive development. His research has been funded continuously for 35 years by the Department of Veterans Affairs, National Institutes of Health, Drug Enforcement Agency, Contraceptive Research and Development and industry grants. He serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism (JCEM); Section Editor in Male Reproductive Endocrinology for UpToDate; Co-Chair of the Partnership for the Accurate Testing of Hormones (PATH); Member of the Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline Task Force on Testosterone Therapy of Adult Men with Hypogonadism; Member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Partnership for Clean Competition; and Member of the Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee of the United States and World Anti-Doping Agency. Dr. Matsumoto is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and recipient of the Mayo Soley Award of the Western Society for Clinical Investigation (2018) and Sidney H. Ingbar Distinguished Service Award of the Endocrine Society (2012). He has been a member of the Endocrine Society for 35 years and has served previously as Chair of the Annual Meeting Steering, Hormone Health Network and Laureate Awards committees and on the Editorial Boards of the JCEM and Endocrine Reviews.

Maria Yialamas, MD is currently a primary care physician and endocrinologist in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital where she is the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency and holds the Sheinkopf-Bornstein Chair in Medical Education. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Biology and earned her MD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She did her residency training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where she also served as chief medical resident, and completed her fellowship in endocrinology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her main clinical area of interest is male and female reproductive endocrinology. Her main areas of education curriculum development include bedside teaching, mentorship and leadership programs for female residents, and housestaff -wide research projects.
